Our core specialization — restoring sacred structures with scientific rigour, traditional materials and unbroken respect for ritual life.
Every temple project follows a disciplined, documented sequence — nothing is altered before it is understood.
Condition survey, structural assessment and identification of decay, damage and past interventions.
Measured drawings, photographic records and material studies forming the scientific baseline.
Emergency propping, water-ingress control and structural strengthening to arrest deterioration.
Careful restoration using traditional materials and artisan techniques matched to the original fabric.
Maintenance manual and periodic-care guidance handed over to the temple's caretakers.
We follow the conservation principle of minimum intervention: repair rather than replace, retain rather than rebuild. Original material is preserved wherever it can safely perform, and every new insertion is documented and, where possible, reversible.

Breathable lime-based mortars and plasters prepared with traditional additives — never hard cement on historic fabric.
Matching sandstone, granite and laterite sourced and dressed by skilled stone masons.
Hand-moulded terracotta panels and bricks — the signature craft of Maluti's temple facades.
Seasoned timber and traditional metalwork restored or replicated where original elements are lost.
Maluti temple group, Dumka
Maluti village in Dumka district is famed for its cluster of historic terracotta temples — an extraordinary concentration of sacred architecture in rural Jharkhand. Weathering, vegetation growth and structural distress had placed many of the shrines at risk.
Projexel Heritage has been engaged in the conservation of the temple group: documenting each shrine, stabilizing distressed structures and restoring terracotta and lime surfaces with traditional craftsmanship.
